Volunteering in old-aged Home

Nepalese society has witnessed a number of changes regarding values and ideals especially with the recent introduction of modern materialistic culture and secondarily due to harsh economic realities. The joint family system (multiple generations living together) has been on occasions marred by it. Consequently, senior citizens of today are bound to lead a life of seclusion and they are aloof because of the fact that neither their offsprings, nor the government, are able to bear adequate responsibility to take care of them in their old age. Now, we are connected with a number of senior people homes in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Kavre districts and are placing our national and international volunteers in such organizations to help the old people there for a certain time.
